ABOUT ROGUENIGHTS.COM

RogueNights.com is a marketing and event planning organization based in New York City.  We provide a full range of event management and marketing services, including special events as well as our own weekly events.  These special events range from corporate events to live performances to fashion shows.  Our weekly events range in type and venue, from upscale lounges such as B'lo or Lotus to larger dance clubs such as Centro Fly, Float and Show.  We also affiliate ourselves with strong, well-known promotional organizations (e.g. GBH) and individuals (e.g. Gordon and Erick Von Broock) to maintain the quality of our events.

We are unique in our versatility and that we take a very personal approach with our clients and guests.  We take great care to ensure their satisfaction.

Our long-term strategy is to build and maintain quality relationships with our partners, clients and guests.  We believe every relationship is crucial and leads to many other opportunities in the long run.

BIOGRAPHY

Ruben Araneta, CEO / Founder

Ruben is a 1993 New York University graduate with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science.  Ruben worked as a corporate legal assistant for over 8 years for the accounting giant Ernst & Young LLP, before leaving to pursue a career in event planning and marketing.

Ruben has been promoting since 1997 and is one of the most versatile promoters around.  He has promoted underground music events such as Great British House (GBH) and CD Release parties for DJs such as BT and Darren Emerson.  He's also been involved in some of New York City's larger and renowned nightclubs, such as Centro Fly, Float, Saci, Chaos, Spa and Exit, as well as various intimate lounge settings like Chateau, Veruka, Suite 16, Lava/Eden, Au Bar and others.

Ruben believes that each event provides positive ideas and networking opportunities that can be incorporated for future events.

In 2002, Ruben founded RogueNights.com to better organize and expand his services to better serve his clients’ needs, especially in special events and event planning.  Ruben (and RogueNights.com) are currently involved with long-running successful weekly parties at Centro Fly, Chateau and B'lo.

Ken Tanaka, President / Founder

Ken is Ruben’s promoting partner and co-founder of RogueNights.com and NeoNYC.com.  He has been promoting since 2001.  Ken has a background in film, having apprenticed as a director of photography.  He is also a part-time model and actor, as well as a talented house music dj.  He is well-versed in fashion and music trends.

Talent coordination is one of Ken’s strongest attributes.  As an event planner, he has fully coordinated two fashion shows in 2002, one in September featuring Jokbox and NotUgly.com fashion lines and the Neo Fashion Showcase / Lupus Benefit in October.

Noel Anthony, Consultant

Noel has been involved with Ruben’s and RogueNights.com events since 2000.  He assists Ruben and Ken in various RogueNights.com activities.  He is very knowledgeable in fashion and social trends and thus provides invaluable consulting assistance to RogueNights.com, as well as helping with hosting and promoting services at RogueNights events.  Noel has an MBA degree and his work experience includes consulting stints at Reuters and VH-1.
